Viktor Yanukovich right now looks like he will win the Ukrainian elections. Yulia Tymoshenko has accused Viktor Yanukovich for not debating her in the elections on TV. I think she is right. He is afraid that people will see that he is not as sharp as she is or that he does not have the best interest of Ukraine in mind. Rather he represents Putin and Russian influence in Kiev.

MemberI have a question, how come all these ex communist guys, like Viktor Yanukovich all look so wooden and serious and square? I think it has to do with their closed view on the world. I am an American but my family was from Ukraine and I do not think he was the optimal choice for president of Ukraine. I think Ukraine needs EU integration not Moscow integration.
